Marble Falls Noon Rotary Club 17th Annual 9/11 “Day of Remembrance Ceremony”

Marble Falls Rotary Club Holds 17th Annual 9/11 Day of Remembrance Ceremony to commemorate 9/11, and to honor, remember and reunite with our area First Responders

This year marks the 17th anniversary of the terrorist attacks carried out against our nation on September 11, 2001.

Each year the Marble Falls Rotary Club, with support of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Marble Falls, Texas, holds a ceremony on September 11th, for personal reflection, prayer and thought in remembrance of the victims’ families and rescue workers involved in the 9/11 tragedies, and to honor, remember and reunite with our area First Responders.

The Rotary Club of Marble Falls is honored each year to sponsor the 9/11 Day of Remembrance Ceremony and to remind everyone that the great strength of America is found in the hearts and souls of its citizens, and that despite the senseless loss of innocent lives and the horror witnessed by people around the world, we can look back at September 11, 2001 and see something more than pain – we can see strength, heroism, and unity, as demonstrated each and every day by our First Responders, who we honor each year on September 11th.

The public is invited to attend the 17th Annual Marble Falls Rotary Club “Day of Remembrance Ceremony” at 5:30 p.m.  Tuesday, September 11th, at Marble Falls Lakeside Pavilion, and if they cannot attend, to please take a moment of silence in remembrance of 9/11 and the strength, heroism and unity of the First Responders on that day, and on each and every day that our First Responders serve our communities.
The Rotary Club of Marble Falls asks everyone to help make September 11, 2018 a day to honor, remember and reunite.
